Course Description: Asthma and allergies affect young and mature athletes. The class details the anatomy and physiology of asthma and allergies. Types of asthma and their differences are covered. Navigation of consultation, examination and testing to better diagnosis athletes of all ages is explained. This two hour presentation contains educational materials to improve treatment and patient education practices. Learn nutritional, supplementation, lifestyle and training strategies to improve the patient’s ability to combat the source of their symptoms and to better manage their condition.

Course Outline: 

  • Detailed explanation of the anatomy and physiology of allergies and asthma. 
  • Description of mechanism of asthma and allergies.
  • Chiropractic diagnostic procedures and treatment approaches.
  • Patient education strategies in nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle and exercise.

Donald A. Ozello, DC graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1995. He is the owner and treating doctor at Championship Chiropractic in Las Vegas, Nevada. His mission is to educate and inspire others to live healthier, fitter, more functional lives. He has a family practice but his passion is treating sports injuries.
