Course Description: Exercises to increase thigh muscle strength, flexibility and endurance are essential for prevention and rehabilitation of these powerful muscles. Hamstrings, hip flexors, quadriceps and adductor injuries are painful, performance limiting and have a high recurrence rate. This two-hour class contains a detailed description of thigh muscle anatomy and physiology. The course covers a gamut of exercises to strengthen and stretch the thigh muscles. This program describes in-depth patient education strategies in the prevention and rehabilitation of thigh muscle injuries.

Course Outline:

  • Detailed discussion of thigh muscle anatomy and physiology.
  • Exercises to prevent and rehabilitate thigh muscle injuries.
  • Patient education strategies to improve thigh muscle motion and function.
  • Chiropractic extremity adjusting techniques.
