Howard Benedikt, DC, DCBCN has treated 1,000s of patients in his 40 years as a chiropractor. He attended Queens College, Flushing, where he received a BS degree. He then went on to study at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic. After several years of practice he obtained an MS in Human Biology/Anatomy from CW Post Center of Long Island University. He also holds certifications from New York Chiropractic College as a CCSP and is a diplomate of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition. He has lectured around the country on nutrition and holds teaching positions with New York Chiropractic College as well as Berkeley College in New York City. He maintains a private practice in New York, focusing on wellness and functional medicine. His passion lies in his vision to help each and every patient achieve their optimal health and wellness. He combines traditional chiropractic care along with deep tissue and trigger point therapies and uses the latest adjunctive modalities such as ultrasound, muscle stimulation, cold light laser therapy and soft tissue mobilization.
Dr. Heather Bryce earned Electrical Engineering degrees from the University of Texas and worked successfully in that field for years. She then enjoyed raising her little ones while teaching engineering courses at Richland College in Dallas. When her children began school, she returned to school herself and earned her DC and Anatomy degrees from Parker College of Chiropractic. Upon graduation, she immediately began a successful Chiropractic practice in Dallas and treated patients for several years until moving away from Dallas. Continuing her love of education, she was an instructor at the International University in Vienna, Austria and Ukraine for two summers. Aside from writing more than one hundred engineering articles that were published in various engineering magazines and journals, she also wrote an article entitled “Memories – My Last Visit with Dr. Jim Parker” that appeared in the February, 1998, issue of the Texas Journal of Chiropractic. She presently is a Designated Doctor for the State of Texas.
Dr. Duval a 1997 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences. He is the founder of Rapid Read, LLC (www.rapidreadllc.com) and consults nationally with chiropractors who use his expertise in diagnostic imaging interpretation to help them and their patients. He is a former Associate Professor of Radiology at Parker University in Dallas, Texas where he taught radiology for 9 years (2008 – 2017). He received his B.S from The University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Duval spent ten-years in private practice in Southern California and Maryland before he decided to focus on radiology and moved to Dallas where he completed his residency at Parker University. Dr. Duval received his DACBR in 2011. Dr. Duval is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA), American College of Chiropractic Radiology (ACCR) and Council on Diagnostic Imaging (CDI). Dr. Duval is also an instructor for the Post Graduate department of Texas Chiropractic College. He currently resides in Grapevine, TX.
Jack Dwyer, DC, CCIC, CCCAP is a Certified Chiropractic Insurance Consultant, who specializes in IME’s, Peer Reviews and Medical Record Reviews. He graduated from Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey with a degree in Natural Science. After a career in Ministry, he attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles and graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Serving the small town of Montesano, WA has provided the opportunity for a wonderful life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. With his wife, Michele, three young teen boys were adopted and have filled the house with joy. In his spare time, Dr. Dwyer loves watching his boys play soccer, going for long walks with his wife, or skiing on champain powder in Western Washington State.
Dr. Hall graduated with honors from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1990. Since graduating, he has been a very passionate and energetic practitioner who carries the same zeal into his lectures and presentations. After graduation he immediately began clinical practice while pursuing post-doctoral chiropractic studies in orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and whiplash traumatology. He received his diplomat status in Chiropractic Clinical Neurology in 1993 and later was awarded a Fellow by the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology. His teaching efforts at Parker University (formerly PCC) earned him full professorship in the Department of Clinical Sciences where he was awarded “faculty of the year” by his peers. In between clinical practice and teaching, Dr. Hall has published multiple scientific papers in the indexed literature on topics of Oximetry, Muscle Strength Testing, Frozen Shoulder, Concussion, and Lumbar Radiculopathy with Urinary Incontinence. He served as an expert panelist on chiropractic profession published guidelines for radiography as well as clinical management of acute and chronic pain. He currently is researching the effects of chiropractic adjustments on brain function, heart rate variability, and neck motor control. From 2014-2017, he held the position of Executive Director of the NeuroLife Institute at Life University where his team managed complex neurological cases, athletic concussions, movement disorders, PTSD, and many other disorders with advanced applications of functional neurology and innovative neuroplastic rehabilitation strategies. He holds post-graduate continuing education faculty status with Texas Chiropractic College, Life University, and Cleveland College of Chiropractic. His renowned “Functional Neurology for Practicing Chiropractors” program has been presented in Europe, Canada, Australia, and throughout the US for over 15 years. He is an instructor in the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association’s diplomate program in Pediatrics where he teaches Developmental Neurobiology. To many in and out of the profession, Dr. Hall is known for his enthusiastic passion for chiropractic, research and functional neurology. He is even more passionate about his faith, raising five children, and the great outdoors.
Dr. Horne founded CCEDSEMINARS with a passion for bringing chiropractors high quality Continuing Education that will elevate the chiropractic profession. Dr. Horne graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 1985. His undergraduate study focused on chemistry and was followed by a research position. After graduating from SCUHS he completed a three year study program in Chiropractic Orthopedics. Since that time he treated patients for 25 years, served as a chiropractic consultant and manages CCEDSEMINARS. Dr. Horne is certified in impairment ratings and functional capacity evaluations. He has served as a designated doctor for the Texas Workers Compensation system performing impairment ratings and return to work evaluations. He is published in JMPT and is currently authoring a text "Documentation and Navigating the Guidelines". Dr. Horne holds faculty status with Texas Chiropractic College’s Post Graduate Studies and Continuing Education Division. Dr. Horne is the Texas Chiropractic Association District 6 Doctor of the year for 2018. His special interests include evidence based standards of care and documentation related to chiropractic care. Dr. Horne has performed numerous record reviews and serves as an expert witness. He has authored numerous courses on chiropractic documentation, case studies and evidence-based practice for continuing education credit. He teaches nationwide online in live webinars and onsite throughout the state of Texas. Dr. Horne is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and serves on the Education Committee. He is married to the love of his life Betty Jo, has six children and seven grandchildren. Recreation time almost always involves the great outdoors.
Chiropractic Radiologist Dr. Sandra Norton is a graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College where she also completed her post-graduate Radiology training. Dr. Norton is currently a Parker University College of Chiropractic Associate Professor (Full-time), and a previous Instructor at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Norton is an Instructor Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology and is also certified in animal chiropractic by the American Veterinarian Chiropractic Association. Dr. Norton has taught courses in Applications in Diagnostic Imaging, Fundamentals of Diagnostic Imaging (X-ray Physics and Technology) with lab, Normal Radiographic Anatomy (including normal variants) with labs, Bone Pathology I labs (topics include tumors, metabolic/endocrine, vascular, infection), Bone Pathology II (topics included trauma, arthritides, dysplasias, and metabolic disorders), Soft Tissue Pathology (Chest and Abdomen), X-ray Procedures and Positioning, Clinical floor duties and resident training sessions. Dr. Norton is passionate about teaching and nurturing the intellectual evolution of students in an evidence-based, critical thinking, academic environment. Dr. Norton strives to continue to learn all fields of radiology and make applicable to the changing environment of Chiropractic and the subluxation complex. Dr. Norton also desires to strengthen the future of chiropractic by bringing health care to those who need it in all areas of the globe and educate others about chiropractic. Dr. Norton came highly recommended to us by her current and former students and colleagues. She is well loved and admired for her gift of humor, enthusiastic teaching style and dedication to the Chiropractic profession.
Dr. Dennis O’Hara was born and raised on Long Island, NY and became a chiropractic advocate while being helped through chiropractic treatment of numerous sports injuries. Dr. O’Hara graduated from National College of Chiropractic in April 1992 with a B.S. in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. O’Hara continued his education with a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Dr. O’Hara has been practicing for 27 years with clinical emphasis focusing on Sports injuries, biomechanical correction and rehabilitation. He has worked with both amateur and professional athletes and was the team chiropractic physician for the Washington DC United MLS soccer from 1996-1998. Dr. O’Hara also had been a sideline doctor for multiple High School sports and a ringside physician for amateur MMA (2009-2015). Dr. O’Hara’s remains in private practice in Tampa Florida. He is part of the post graduate faculty for Texas Chiropractic College and continues his passion for chiropractic through teaching post-graduate education.
Donald A. Ozello, DC, CCSM, CCN graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1995. He is the owner and treating doctor at Championship Chiropractic in Las Vegas, Nevada. His mission is to educate and inspire others to live healthier, fitter, more functional lives. He has a family practice but his passion is the prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries. Doctor Donald A. Ozello is a faculty member of CCED Seminars where he teaches online Chiropractic Continuing Education webinars in sports medicine. He holds faculty status with Texas Chiropractic College’s Post Graduate Studies and Continuing Education Division. Dr. Ozello successfully completed the Certified Chiropractic Sports Medicine and Certified Chiropractic Nutrition Programs through CCED Seminars & Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. Ozello is the author of “Running: Maximize Performance & Minimize Injuries.” He is published in OnFitness Magazine, LiveStrong.com, SpineUniverse.com and The Las Vegas Informer. His YouTube channel, Dr Donald A Ozello DC has two weekly shows: Dr Ozello’s Sports Medicine Report and Two Minutes of Anatomy. Dr. Ozello is a fitness enthusiast. Functional kettlebell training, running, bike riding and core training are his favorite forms of exercise. Before pursuing his career in Chiropractic, Donald served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Bremerton, SSN 698.
Dr. John H. Riggs III, board certified chiropractic orthopedist (2012), graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (1988). He has practiced in Michigan, California, Tennessee and Texas with current licenses in Texas and Michigan. Prior to earning his doctorate, he completed associates, bachelors and masters degrees in business administration. He currently teaches anatomy and human biology at two local community colleges. He has taught management classes at the college level for several years (classroom/online) and holds a lifetime California Community College Teaching Credential (business). Dr. Riggs was appointed to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE) from 2013-2019 (resigned 2017) and chaired the Enforcement Committee. He represented the state at NBCE and FCLB meetings as a delegate/alternate and has participated in Part IV NBCE Exam committees. He also served on the Texas Tech University of Health Sciences (TTHUSC) Public Health Community Advisory Board (PHCAB). He holds postdoctoral certifications in acupuncture, laser therapy, and Graston Technique. Dr. Riggs is a member of the ACA, TCA and ACO, ACCO and CCO orthopedic organizations. He has published 20 articles: 3 peer reviewed articles (JMPT/JACO). 10 non-peer reviewed articles (professional journals), and 7 martial arts articles (national and international journals). Dr. Riggs is married and currently practices in Dowagiac, MI. He holds a 5th degree black belt and teaches classes and periodic seminars in Aikido. He has been in practice for 28 years.
Dr. Tranter has been in private practice since 1984. Over the past 14 years, he has successfully included acupuncture, acupressure and auriculotherapy to improve clinical outcomes for his chiropractic patients, and is passionate about bringing this information to other chiropractors. Tranter is a 1982 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic – Davenport, where he met and married Dr. Patricia Felder, and started their practice together. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) and a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). He was an Assistant Professor for Flexion Distraction at Parker College of Chiropractic, has taught numerous clinical post graduate classes, and is a coauthor of the technique book, “Motion Assisted Palpation and Motion Adjusting.” He enjoys making complex concepts simple and straightforward, and he loves to provide his colleagues with practical information they can use immediately to help their patients. Dr. Tranter is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association. Dr. Tranter, also, serves as post graduate faculty for Texas College of Chiropractic. He enjoys hiking, skiing and researching health and wellness information. Dr. Tranter and his wife recently received a lifetime community service award from the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. They have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
Tracy Wilson, DC received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in 1996. He is a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University with a degree in biology. He has completed numerous post graduate courses in chiropractic pediatrics, has CLM Wellness certification and AMIT certification. He started practicing in Lovington, NM under the guidance of his mentor Dr. D.E. Atchley. Dr. Wilson is an Ambassador for the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance, through which he has been privileged to take part in utilizing the most state of the art technology, The Creating Wellness System. Beyond practice, Dr. Wilson is a nationally sought after lecturer and motivational speaker. He speaks regularly at Parker Chiropractic College and other State organizations teaching continuing education in Pediatrics, Family Practice, and Communication. He also is the author of "Understanding Personalities in Practice Manual" specifically for Doctors of Chiropractic to become better communicators with their patients. Dr. Wilson also takes care of the Texas Tech Football team and has traveled with the team to the last 7 bowl games. Dr. Wilson is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and Texas Chiropractic Association. Dr. Wilson is the father of three beautiful girls, Summer, Kaylee, and Holly. Along with spending time with his daughters, he enjoys running marathons, half marathons, and triathlons.
Dr. Wright received her Bachelor of science in 1997- Summa Cum Laude -Tarleton State University under full scholarship. She graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic-2001 Presidential Top Graduate- Palmer College of Chiropractic, where she attended on multiple scholarships. Dr. Wright is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner since 2003 with post-doctorate specialist status in the care and rehabilitation of sports injuries, shoulder problems, feet issues, and other extremity conditions. She, also, has a special interest and post-graduate training in Animal Chiropractic. Dr. Wright maintains a busy practice in Weatherford Texas. She is passionate about Chiropractic and teaching.
Dr Steven G. Yeomans began his practice in 1979 by joining his father as a third generation chiropractor in Ripon, WI. He completed a 5-year residency orthopedic program and became board certified in 1985. He accepted his first post-graduate teaching position with the National College of Chiropractic in 1989 and since, has acquired chiropractic post-graduate teaching positions with 7 other Chiropractic colleges. Since 1984, Dr. Yeomans has lectured abroad and throughout the U.S. and Canada on topics including Impairment and disability rating (currently 6th edition), Industrial consulting, carpal tunnel syndrome and cumulative trauma disorders, rehabilitation, whiplash, documentation, physical therapy, outcomes assessment and orthopedics. In the year 2000, the textbook, The Clinical Application of Outcomes Assessment was released by Appleton & Lange. He maintains his private practice in Ripon, WI with a partner and continues to actively write and lecture.

Betty Jo Horne
Betty Jo Horne is Dr. Horne's wife and has worked alongside him in his Chiropractic practice as his CA and office manager for years. She now serves CCEDSEMINARS as Administrative Officer of Continuing Education. Betty Jo loved the patients while in active practice with her husband and now thoroughly enjoys assisting Doctor's in achieving their Continuing Education requirements. She will most certainly become your friend on the phone and at onsite events where you will find her serving you with her gift of gracious hospitality. Her interests include a passion for cooking, gardening, studying nutrition, traveling and spending time with husband, children and grandchildren.
Vincent Shutt is our newest member of the CCEDSEMINARS staff and is serving as Associate Director of Continuing Education. Vincent comes to us with significant customer service experience and we are confident that he will diligently strive to assist you with all of your Continuing Education requirement questions, concerns and enrollment. He will also be serving as a moderator in live events and assist our instructors in delivering high quality Continuing Education presentations. Vincent attended Abilene Christian University where he met his sweet wife, Tracie. Vincent's interests include cooking and grilling and he is an avid reader, hunter and outdoorsman. Vincent and Tracie live in the Dallas area with their son, Hayden.
