Course Description: Dopamine is a prominent neurotransmitter and heavily favored in the literature for its role in “pleasure”. This presentation will present many features of dopamine in a way that is clinically relevant for the chiropractor. As we take another look at this neurotransmitter, we can begin to understand a little more of its role in addiction, motivation, and Parkinson’s. These conditions are commonly seen in the patient population seeking chiropractic care.
