The numbering and names of some of the Board's rules will change on November 1, 2018

Effective November 1, 2018, the numbering and names of some of the Board's rules will be different when you access them in the Texas Administrative Code. This is being done to better organize our rules and to make it easier for you to find the specific information you're looking for.

It is important to know that while some of the numbering and names of the rules are changing, none of the actual text of the rules themselves will change; that requires the Board to use the formal rulemaking process. These are housekeeping moves only. To see what the changes will be ahead of time, click on the following link: View Rule Transfer.

There will be a much smaller second round of changes before the end of the year. You will be notified of that when the date is confirmed. Please contact us if you have any questions.
