Course Description: Athletes of all ages, sports, levels and abilities can experience hamstring injuries. This course covers the anatomy and physiology of the hamstrings. The class emphasizes rehabilitation of hamstring injuries and return to activity. This presentation provides patient education in strengthening, stretching and proprioception exercises to help athletes prevent, recover from and lessen the possibility of recurrence of hamstring strains.

Course Outline:
Detailed description of hamstrings anatomy and physiology.
Mechanism of hamstring injuries.
In-office chiropractic treatment for posterior thigh injuries.
Patient education strategies for prevention, rehabilitation & return to activity.

Learning Objectives:
Develop a better understanding of anatomy and physiology of the hamstrings.
Enhance clinical knowledge to properly treat and rehabilitate hamstring injuries.
Learn tools to better educate patients in prevention, management and rehabilitation of hamstring injuries.
