Course Description: Bike riding is a sport, recreation, form of exercise and mode of transportation. Numerous types of bikes exist including road bikes, mountain bikes and BMX bikes. The potential for injury in bike riding is high. This two hour class covers the most common biking injuries and the mechanism of how these injuries are acquired. Anatomy and physiology is discussed in detail. Evaluation and diagnosis are described in a comprehensive manner. In-office chiropractic treatment strategies and patient education techniques for cyclist are covered.
