• Editor’s note: The opening quote in the following letter to the editor is from A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times… .”
Betty Jo and I have cried a river of tears for our community and country. Now is the time for us to rise to greatness. Let us all do our part to limit and slow the spread of this virus. Please practice social distancing and extreme hygiene.
If you are able, please pay your help even with social distancing, dog groomers, hairdressers, house keepers and restaurants. In the days to come, this community will establish ways to help our small businesses and individuals.
Our leadership will reach out to the media to spread the word in terms of how we can each help.
“There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” – Albert Einstein
We will not go quietly into the night!
Bless the USA.
